Ryan's Page (added May 24, 2002). Ryan is a young man who lost his best friend in a tragic accident. He wrote a poem and designed a webpage as a tribute to his friend, Eric.Thank you, Ryan, for sharing this with us.

1000 Deaths (added September 17, 2002). A suicide prevention site, written and maintained by loved ones left behind. Thank you to R. A. and others for bringing this site to our attention.

The Old Soldier (added April 4, 2003). Thank you, Mitchell, for finding the authorship of this poem and letting us know.

Innocent Heart, Laughter and Tears (added February 10, 2004). An historical memoir that captures Italian life and culture in the 1920’s. Drawing her material from historical documents, photographs, and oral history passed down through generations of her own family, the author captures the Italian-American immigrant experience in a respectful, insightful, and often heartwarming way.

Jump Start Foundation (added June 23, 2004). This organization is the project of an extraordinary group of Long Island high school students. These young people volunteer their time and talents to raise money and awareness for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, New York, via a variety of athletic tournaments and other events.
